Our designers have been working with patient specific implants since 1985, when impressions of the defect used to be the norm, introducing in the late 80s implant design from digital CT data. Integrating technological advancements as they came along, we have now developed an extremely lean design and production system. It allows us to provide our products in a turnaround as quick as 4 days.

Our design experience and many close collaborations with leading surgeons have contributed to the introduction of various features that improve the functionality of the implants. We are also able to cope with out-of-the-ordinary cases.

Leading the industry with PEEK and Titanium Implants

We offer implants in PEEK-OPTIMA and Titanium. Both materials are available for cranioplasty, orbital floor, orbital wall, zygomatic and maxillary implants and onlays, and mandibular onlays. Implants are developed with a quick turnaround in mind, facilitating your planning, logistics and stock management.

 

PEEK-Optima PSI

  • Offers proven biocompatibility and biostability
  • Closely matches the strength of the bone
  • Is radiolucent
  • Can be easily modified in surgery (e.g. if you wanted to add screws, monitoring devices, or drainage)

Titanium PSI

  • Is considerably lower cost than most other implantable materials
  • Pressed titanium or 3D-printed titanium
  • Our Next-Generation design has no slits and offers improved strength. It removes risks of damage to surrounding tissue and unnecessary force on screws

Antimicrobial Silver Treatment

This treatment is available on titanium implants only. The Agluna® technology embeds antimicrobial silver ions into the surface of titanium based implantable devices. Upon implantation, the ions are released and kill microorganisms attempting to adhere to the device. Over the past 10 years, Agluna® has been successfully adopted in patient-specific limb implants, with confirmed clinical efficacy. The technology is moving towards adoption on more standard orthopaedic implants.

Osteotomy Cutting Guides and Templates

These are invaluable tools to help you achieve 2-in-1 surgeries: the osteotomy is performed using the cutting guide with the patient-specific implant there, ready to be inserted only a moment later… not during the next surgery!
